Why People Join

This is not a generic
hourly coaching job.

01

Meaningful work, not a side gig

Every session you run puts a volleyball in the hands of a kid who wouldn't have found the sport otherwise. That's not a tagline — it's the job description.

02

Room to grow, if you want it

Some people join Volleyball Academy because they want meaningful work with kids and families. Others are also interested in growing into broader leadership over time. We make both possible. Strong local leadership matters here, and for those who earn more responsibility, there is a clear path forward.

03

Systems that support you

You don't build curriculum from scratch. You don't figure out operations alone. We provide the playbooks, training, and HQ support so you can focus on coaching and leading.

04

Real earnings that reflect your contribution

Compensation starts at $18/hr, with additional earnings potential for people who take on more responsibility over time. We value strong coaching, strong local leadership, and long-term contribution at every level.

Who Thrives Here

Two strong starting points.
One shared mission.

We do not hire one type of person. We tend to see two strong profiles succeed here, and both can make a meaningful impact. Some team members stay focused on coaching and leading great local programs. Others grow into broader leadership over time. What matters most is that you are coachable, reliable, and committed to the mission.

The Emerging Leader

You bring energy, presence, and ambition. You've played the sport, coached a team, or worked with kids — and you're ready to do it at a higher level. You may still be learning school systems and operational growth, but you're coachable, reliable, and hungry to build something real.

The Community Builder

You bring trust, communication, and local knowledge. You know how to talk to parents, navigate school systems, and build relationships that last. You may need support growing into the coaching rhythm or operational side of the role, but your community roots are exactly what make programs stick.

What We Provide

You don't figure
this out alone.

Volleyball Academy is a systems-driven organization. That means you get real infrastructure behind you — not a vague promise of "support." Here's exactly what you're walking into.

Full Curriculum

Every session plan, drill, and progression is built and tested. You run the program — you don't build it from scratch.

Operational Systems

Attendance tracking, parent communication templates, location setup checklists — the infrastructure is already in place.

Onboarding & Training

Every new coach goes through a structured onboarding process. You know what's expected before you walk into your first session.

HQ Support

You're not on an island. Area Managers and HQ staff are reachable, responsive, and invested in your success.

Performance Feedback

Clear metrics. Regular check-ins. You always know where you stand and what it takes to move to the next level.

Equipment & Logistics

Volleyballs, nets, cones — all provided at your location. You show up ready to coach, not ready to set up a warehouse.

"The goal was never to build a program that depends on one great coach. The goal is to build a system where any great coach can succeed."
