About the Role
You'll run classes, build relationships with families, and represent the VA program in your local area. This is where most of our coaches start — and where the best ones build something lasting.
What You'll Do
- Lead 45–60 minute youth volleyball classes for ages 3–12
- Follow the VA curriculum and adapt to your group's energy and skill level
- Communicate professionally with parents before and after class
- Arrive early, set up equipment, and maintain a safe, organized gym environment
- Attend monthly coach check-ins and training sessions
- Represent the VA brand with consistency and care
What We're Looking For
- Genuine love for working with kids and teaching
- Reliable, punctual, and coachable
- Some volleyball background (playing or coaching at any level)
- Comfortable leading a group independently
- Available on weekends and at least 2 weekday evenings
Nice to Have
- Experience coaching or teaching youth sports
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese a plus)
