About the Role

You'll run classes, build relationships with families, and represent the VA program in your local area. This is where most of our coaches start — and where the best ones build something lasting.

What You'll Do

  • Lead 45–60 minute youth volleyball classes for ages 3–12
  • Follow the VA curriculum and adapt to your group's energy and skill level
  • Communicate professionally with parents before and after class
  • Arrive early, set up equipment, and maintain a safe, organized gym environment
  • Attend monthly coach check-ins and training sessions
  • Represent the VA brand with consistency and care

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine love for working with kids and teaching
  • Reliable, punctual, and coachable
  • Some volleyball background (playing or coaching at any level)
  • Comfortable leading a group independently
  • Available on weekends and at least 2 weekday evenings

Nice to Have

  • Experience coaching or teaching youth sports
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese a plus)

What We Provide

  • Full VA curriculum and session plans — you don't start from scratch
  • Onboarding training and ongoing coach development
  • Consistent class schedule with predictable hours
  • Direct support from program leadership
  • Clear path to Senior Lead Coach for those who want it
